Boulevard World 2024 Reopens with Five New Country Pavilions

Boulevard World will be making a grand return this 2024 with the much-anticipated upcoming Riyadh Season 2024.

Fans can expect an exciting array of events, activities, and attractions as the Riyadh Season zone re-opens on October 13. Eventgoers can find it beside Boulevard Riyadh City, where they can experience the finest of the world’s cuisines, shopping finds, and traditions.

Five new country pavilions at Boulevard World

The highlights of the year’s Boulevard World are five new country pavilions or zones featuring a specific country’s culture. These include the country pavilions of China, Greece, India, Italy, and Morocco. These will be in addition to other existing country pavilions.

In 2023, these were Egypt, France, Mexico, Spain, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. There were also replicas of the famous Egyptian pyramids, along with an open-air market for Arabic food items. In addition were music shows, massages, and Thai fabrics at the Thai country pavilion.

Of particular interest at Boulevard World is the Courchevel pavilion, which takes inspiration from the famous ski resort in France. Courchevel is a world-class summer and winter destination in the French alps. There, visitors can enjoy different winter-themed activities.

The African Super Cup at Riyadh Season 2024

Boulevard World is one of the most exciting zones people can look forward to at Riyadh Season 2024. It is Saudi Arabia’s biggest project to date, and it only took organizers 82 days to build it. Boulevard World will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Apart from the country pavilions, Riyadh Season has something big in store for sports enthusiasts. Football lovers, for instance, can look forward to the TotalEnergies African Super Cup (CAF) Final 2024. His Excellency Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh of came to an agreement with the CAF for the event. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA). Meanwhile, Dr. Patrice Motsepe represented the CAF as its President.

His Excellency Turki Alalsikh remarked, “We are delighted to host the African Super Cup at Riyadh Season, which represents one of the most important tournaments on the African continent.”

“This event features two football giants from our sister country, the Arab Republic of Egypt, Al-Ahly and Zamalck,” he added. “We all look forward to a competitive match that lives up to its promises.”

The African Super Cup Finals will happen on Friday, September 27.

Nature, tech, and more

Apart from Boulevard World, organizers have also confirmed that Riyadh Season 2024 will re-open the Wonder Garden attraction. Wonder Garden will cover an area of more than 500,000 square meters and it can accommodate up to 23,000 guests.

This 2024, Wonder Garden will have over 60 theatrical shows, 65 games, as well as more than 40 dining options. Guests can also enjoy attractions such as The Butterfly Garden and The Dark Garden. The Butterfly Garden features more than 1,000 butterflies of different species.

Another attraction is the largest man-made lake in the world. Some of the activities in the attraction include gondola and submarine rides. Just like in Boulevard World, visitors can enjoy more than 1,180 shops, 120 dining options, arcade games, and shows.

Tech enthusiasts will also love The Bomb, a virtual reality game where you have to defuse a bomb you can’t see. Apart from this, there’s also The Farm VR game, where you stop a farmer from releasing a poisonous plant extract.

From nature, sports, to shopping, guests of all ages will have something to enjoy at Boulevard World and Riyadh Season.
